The Varlin Archive Bondo
The Varlin Archive manages Varlin's legacy and organises exhibitions and publications on his work. It is located in Varlin's former home. In the early years, he used a room on the ground floor as a studio. The flat is still largely in its original state. In the entrance is the rocking horse that Varlin painted and in the kitchen is the fireplace that Varlin designed himself and which then served as a guest book. The archive has an extensive collection of documents, writings, publications and photographs as well as numerous original works (paintings, drawings, prints).
An exhibition room has been set up in the former studio, where changing exhibitions of Varlin's works are shown.
This exhibition room and parts of the house can be visited on request.
Opening hours:
All year round on request. As this is a private house, it is not possible to visit at any time.
